Do you think it is fair that books are judged by their covers?
When judging the strength of a book, the cover’s role is significant. It makes the book stand out, capturing reader’s attention right away especially if the cover design is visually appealing. However, a book can’t be judged solely by its cover. Although the reader may have picked it up for its visual appeal, ultimately the book will be judged based on its content.
I believe a cover of a book is very important. But primarily a cover’s purpose is to accurately represent the book’s content, therefore it would be unfair to judge a book by its cover.
