A well-designed poster conveys the project’s goals, values, and unique qualities, acting as a portal for deeper audience connection.
While the traditional role of posters as a medium for public display is unlikely to disappear, the rise of digital media has introduced new possibilities for how posters can be used to communicate information and express identity. Ultimately, the future of posters wide open, and it will be exciting to see how this medium evolves and develops in the years to come.
Posters serve not only as a medium displayed in public places to be appreciated by a broad audience, but also as a means of fostering a sense of identity within a company when displayed internally, or even as a valuable commodity when sold. Additionally, with the widespread use of smartphone and the availability of high-quality digital signage, both print and digital posters are utilized in tandem. Lately, I have been closely following the trend of non-print posters.
